Some boys under seven have a rare disease called Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Catching it early is everything: it decides how long a boy will be able to walk, breathe, and live. The easiest test? Drop a toy and watch how the child gets up off the floor with it. Only a doctor can make the diagnosis — but anyone can notice the way a kid moves.
